| You know what a Messiah is. The ancient Jewish prophet, Isaiah, said that this Messiah would take upon himself our iniquities, our rebellion against G-d and suffer in our place. He would offer a sacrifice like the ancient Jewish priests, not of animals, but of himself. (Isaiah chapter 52, verse 12 to chapter 53, verse 15) |
| You need a Messiah. If you don't think you need one, you don't really want one. The only way you'd need a Messiah is if you are separated from G-d and helpless to remove the baggage of all the evil things you had ever done. If you think G-d will just overlook that, you're wrong. G-d is a just and holy G-d. Someone needs to pay - wanna volunteer? (Isaiah chapter 53, verses 5-6) |
