Yeshua made many remarkable claims for himself. Anyone who declares that he was just a "good teacher" has never read the New Covenant in any detail. Yeshua declares himself to be "The Way, the Truth and the Life," and the "True Vine." Sheer madness, unless, of course, it's true.
Yeshua worked many great miracles that proved, without a doubt, that he was Immanuel, "G-d with us." From our time, two thousand years in the future, we cannot personally observe him performing those miracles. There is one miracle that shines like a blazing star down the corridors of time, namely, his resurrection. That event cannot be explained by natural means. It cannot be denied, it can only be ignored. Think of it - a man rose from the dead, not back into a mortal body, but into an immortal one. By doing so, he proved to all that he was whom he said he was. The resurrection of Yeshua also gives us hope. We see in his resurrected body an example of the inheritance prepared for us. Unlike the false Eastern religions that involve being reborn over and over and over again, we live in our present bodies just once, then, we who trust in Yeshua, will receive the new, immortal, glorified bodies. How tame the sufferings of this world will seem then!
Hope In the halls of gold Of power and prestige Sensual delights I looked for hope Behind the piles Of things I thought valuable But burned away In the morning sun Leaving only emptiness Behind in my heart Until I looked up There beyond the stars Yet walking beside me Hope came looking for me
